One thing about me is that I overcomplicate everything. Fixating on every small detail, even trying to write this has taken me over six days (more like six years since the idea of having a blog) to get over the fear of “how everything needs to be perfect before I write it” from the design of the blog, to what to write about, to what platform I should write the draft on… gotta love anxiety with a touch of perfectionism. 

So f*ck it, here goes nothing.

Hey there! I’m Montana – a small-town girl from Michigan who loves being creative with all things branding, business, marketing, photography, social media, life, and motherhood!

Let’s Start With My Essentials

Coffee and cows ☕️🐮 I have a bit of a coffee addiction, I’ll admit- it’s what powers my creativity (mostly). You’ll rarely catch me without a cup in hand, whether it’s iced, frozen, or piping hot. And my go-to? The honey lavender latte 🪻 – a blend of flavors that speaks to my soul. As for cows, well, they hold a special place in my heart. There’s something about their gentle nature that brings me joy, and I’ll never pass up an opportunity to admire them as we drive by on the highway or cuddle one when I have the chance  (they’re seriously like giant, playful puppies).

My All-Time Favorite Titles 

While CEO and entrepreneur are still my titles, there are two that hold a special place in my heart – wife and mama. I’ve recently been promoted and they’ve quickly become my favorites, bringing a whole new dimension to my life and purpose. As a wife to my husband, Kyle, I cherish the bond we have and love living this adventure of life together with love and a whole lot of laughter. And as a mama, well, there’s simply nothing that compares. I gave birth to my baby girl (Sawyer) back in December and have gained a bonus child through my marriage (Maella). These titles may not come with a corner office or a fancy job title, but they’re the ones that truly light up my soul. Oh, and dog mama, can’t forget that one! Here’s a peak into those titles:

Advocating Since 2016

Navigating life with two chronic illnesses, endometriosis, and May Thurner Syndrome, has been both a challenge and a journey of resilience. The pain and uncertainty of endometriosis since the age of fifteen, I’ve learned to face each day with courage and determination at such a young age. At 22, I received my May Thurner Syndrome and had stents placed to open up my veins so blood could move right (no wonder why I’m always so friggen cold). Living with chronic illnesses hasn’t been easy but I get to use it as my superpower to make an impact and inspire others by letting them know they’re not alone in their journey!

One of my biggest life & business goals is to help make an impact in women’s health & research so that someday we (or the generations of our daughters) won’t have to advocate so hard for ourselves to feel okay in everyday life.

I help other business owners get creative when it comes to their online presence (aka your marketing, branding, website, and brand image). I’m basically the creative 🦄 for your business. To be honest, I don’t really know for certain where this blog will go but I can tell you my creativity is far more than being in a niched box. Be prepared for an education, story-driven, creative, and personal look into the life of Montana – photography, business, marketing, social media, branding, motherhood, life, and whatever else life throws at me. Who knows – maybe my most asked-for coffee recipes?!
